Zambia has a long and colourful history and it's population is made up of 72 different ethnic groups who celebrate a number of vibrant traditional ceremonies. Zambian people are extremely friendly and are always proud to share their traditions and stories.
PLACES
Geographically varied from the highlands in the East to the Zambezi floodplain in the West, more than 30% of the country is protected under 20 National Parks & 34 Game Management Areas. There are 3 main river systems that flow through Zambia and this verdant country has a number of impressive waterfalls cascading through its many valleys.
WILDLIFE
Zambia is home to the Big 5 and has growing populations of rhino, cheetah, wild dog and is also recognised as a lion stronghold. There are numerous migrations that take place here, including bats, wildebeest and various bird species.
